Around 1.15pm on 6th July 22, I got a call from someone claiming to be from the British Telecom tech team. They said my internet wasn’t working properly and asked me to check the signal strength on my computer and tell them. I told them they should already have that info. They kept insisting I follow their instructions, but I said if there’s a problem with my connection, they should just fix it. Then they hung up on me. I called 1471 to check the number and it showed as 02038475083. When I called that number back, it said "this number is not recognised." Very suspicious!
