Got calls from the same number thrice today. The caller claimed to be from BT, but I had a feeling it was dodgy so I just cut the call straight away the first time. On the second call, I let them ramble for a few seconds before telling them to stop with their nonsense. The third time, they stayed silent, then hung up, followed by some recorded message saying goodbye. Quite fishy if you ask me.

Got a call earlier today with the same old spiel about our internet getting disconnected by the end of the day. We quickly called them out on being scam artists and they just ended the call right there.

Somebody rang up pretending to be from BT support, saying there was a problem with my account and asked me to turn on my laptop so she could sort it out. She warned my internet would be suspended for three months if I didn’t comply. She was really forceful and rude about it. When I asked for a contact number to ring her back, she just ended the call!

I got a call from someone saying they were with BT, saying my computer had loads of error messages. They said they could stop them by using this thing called 'eventviewer' in the start up menu. I quickly searched 'eventviewer scam' online and found loads of warnings about it. When I mentioned that to the caller, they just cut the call straight away!
