I got several calls from someone claiming to be Starling bank. They were really pushy at first, but once I started probing with loads of questions, they quickly got annoyed. After that, I just stopped answering their repeated calls. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from Starling Bank, said there was suspicious activity on my account. They kept asking how much cash I had and when I'd be putting money in. I told them I only had 5p and usually get paid in cash. After that, they just said "if you had money, I would've taken it" and hung up. Bit strange, honestly.

I got a call from Starling Bank after I’d dropped them a note in their app. They rang instead of texting back, probably cos it’s quicker to chat than typing out a reply. The guy on the phone knew exactly what I was asking about, which seemed legit to me. If this had been a spoofed number, I’m sure they’d have grilled me with loads of questions, but he didn’t at all. So yeah, I reckon this was a real call, coming as a proper reply to the message I sent.

This number rang me but it didn’t show as a scam like it usually does. Still, I never picked up since I only take calls from contacts saved in my phone. Just a heads up to stay cautious!

Seems like this is linked to a phishing scheme involving the post office.
