Received a phone call today, with someone asking for my date of birth, employment specifics, and my email address. They claimed to be involved in cryptocurrency investments and were pushing for an upfront payment of £215 to kick off my first investment. I have a strong feeling I’d just be throwing my money away into the abyss with this lot! If it sounds overly enticing, chances are it’s a scam! They even mentioned something about Jeremy Clarkson being one of their investors. Unfortunately, I lack Jezzer's digits, so I couldn't cross-check that claim! The whole interaction struck me as utterly dubious.
