I received a rather unwelcome call from a woman with an accent that was clearly not local. She claimed to be a compensation agent, attempting to coax my bank details out of me under the pretense of transferring some reimbursement for a supposed car accident I was allegedly a victim of. I quickly asserted that I had no knowledge of such an incident and promptly terminated the conversation. Quite the pesky interruption, really!
