Received a call at 9:48 in the morning on the second of October from Perth, Western Australia. Quite concerning, to say the least.

Received a couple of calls from this number earlier today, but I chose not to pick up.

I received a rather troubling call from someone claiming to be from TechForing Ltd, asking for an upfront payment of £2000 to look into a potential blackmail situation involving me. We recognise how these unscrupulous blackmailers typically operate, often using fabricated identities and various deceptive tactics. Given that the individual in question possesses sensitive images or information about you, there’s a likelihood they could threaten to share these with your acquaintances. These criminals are notorious for exploiting such sensitive details in serious cyber offences online and even on the dark web, potentially also uploading your information to dubious sites. They thrive on the fear of their victims, making blackmail a lucrative venture.
