I received a rather unexpected call from a gentleman with a strong foreign accent, who wanted to chat about my car insurance information. I had absolutely no desire to divulge any such personal details to a complete stranger who had rung me from an unrecognised number. It felt quite dubious, to say the least!

Some bloke rang me wanting to chat about car insurance. When I asked him what insurance he meant, he just ended the call right away. Strange behaviour if you ask me!

Has anyone else picked up when this number rings? I got a couple of missed calls from it recently, maybe it’s some robocall from a call centre just checking if my line is active? I never pick up calls from strangers and they didn’t leave any voicemail. Tried searching online for details but couldn’t find anything. Don’t really want to return the call without knowing who it is first. Anyone got a clue who they might be?
