As soon as I answered the call, they promptly disconnected.

I received an automated call claiming to be about a tax fraud probe. They warned that failing to hit 'one' could result in arrest. Quite clearly a scam. I suspect that pressing 'one' would just connect me to some extortionate premium phone line.
