I had a rather peculiar phone call from a chap who seemed to have the voice of a seasoned American, mixed with a hint of Glaswegian brogue. He presented himself as a mature gentleman and claimed he was conducting some sort of survey. Oddly enough, he delved into queries regarding my journey since graduating from uni a year and three months ago. He even knew my full name, which struck me as distinctly unsettling. Over the past three months, I've had similar encounters with different individuals, and none of them left me with a good impression. I chose to cut each conversation short, as they relentless grilled me about my time at university and my subsequent achievements. Honestly, I can't shake the feeling that there's something fishy about it all-definitely seems like some sort of scam to me.
