I picked up the phone and there was nothing but silence on the other end.

I had a bloke ring me up saying my washing machine insurance was about to expire. When I asked him which brand my washing machine was, he just went silent and ended the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from a bloke who already had my last name and said he wanted to remind me our washing machine insurance was about to expire. I replied that we’ve had the washing machine for years and never took out insurance for it. After that, he just hung up on me.
