It's the same old story. A chap rang me up regarding the insurance for my washing machine nearing its expiry. However, when I inquired about the brand of the machine, he conveniently cut the call.

A polite chap rang me up, fully aware of my surname, claiming he was calling to inform me that our washing machine insurance was about to expire. I explained that we’ve owned the washing machine for quite some time and have never taken out any insurance on it. Suddenly, the phone went silent! Quite suspicious, if you ask me.
