So I got a call from what looked like Amazon, but I’m not totally sure if it was legit or a scam since the number might be used by fraudsters too. I had to change my delivery date and this number rang me back. The background was super loud, couldn’t make out what they were saying, then the call suddenly went dead. I came here to find out more and noticed an email from Amazon saying they tried to reach me. I think they just needed to confirm my delivery info because the driver was struggling to find my address.

I got a call yesterday claiming to be from Now TV, then today someone said they were from Amazon. I just ended the call straight away. They rang back and I told them to take me off their list as I wasn’t interested. The bloke said he wanted to send me an email but I told him again, no thanks, remove my number. He said alright and I hung up. After that, he kept ringing and just hanging up on me. Bit creepy if you ask me. Blocked the number in the end.

Totally dodgy call. They left a voicemail but there’s no number to ring back. I tried emailing after but it was full of spelling mistakes and sounded just as fishy. I’ve sent it over to the official phishing reports team and blocked them straight away. Feels like they’re trying to mess with Amazon or something.

Definitely NOT a scam. I got in touch with Amazon myself to verify the number, and they said it’s actually their delivery team calling about a parcel. Bit strange that the number’s showing as London when the call came from Leeds, though. But yeah, it’s legit. They just want to know your name, if you have a delivery code (if you need one), and what time you’ll be home. They don’t ask for anything else.
