Kept saying they weren’t selling anything, but all they wanted was to convince me to change my insurance to some sort of care plan for later. Rang me loads of times, so in the end I had to block the number.

My phone rings multiple times a day, but I choose to let the answering machine handle it now. Thankfully, I have caller display which helps me identify the numbers. Whenever I used to answer, it was always someone trying to conduct a survey. The person had poor English skills, making it hard to understand them. They simply refuse to accept a "no" as an answer. On one occasion, when I asked them to stop calling, they insisted that they would only stop if I completed their survey, which only ended up leading to more unwanted calls. They have become a true nuisance.

When my father-in-law tried passing the phone to me, the caller just hung up. These callers have been insisting on discussing power of attorney with them, in addition to attempting to set up on appointment for someone to visit them.
