Dodgy call, be careful.

02030692051 just called me again, second time this morning within 15 minutes, claiming to be from TalkTalk internet. I’m not a TalkTalk customer. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Sounds like a dodgy foreign robocall, really annoying and persistent. JAKE.

Got a call claiming to be from the Mint Office about some "exclusive offer" on a "one of a kind item". The person had a pretty heavy accent and spoke really slowly, which was unusual. When I said I wasn't keen, they kept telling me I was passing up an amazing chance. After I repeated myself about five or six times, they just cut me off right in the middle of me trying to explain.

I got a voicemail saying it was HMRC and something to do with fraud investigations. The bloke warned me not to ignore the call or else there’d be issues!

Was expecting a phone call from the hospital and caught the end of a message when I picked up. Foolishly gave out my name and hospital number! Now I’m a bit anxious about what might happen because of that. Usually, I’m great at dealing with these annoying calls by just keeping quiet or hanging up quick, but it was early morning and I was waiting on an important call. I thought these kinds of pushy calls were supposed to be banned now.

Answered by mistake as I was waiting for a different call. The caller had a strong accent and didn’t even get my name right. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number.

I've put this number on my block list, yet they still keep ringing me. No idea how they get past it. Seriously, someone needs to find a proper way to stop these annoying calls for good. I've used a few call blocking apps before; they help for a bit but then they fail, and some calls slip through anyway. So now I'm giving this new app a shot. Hopefully, it'll hold off these pestering calls for a little longer before they get around it again.

They've been ringing me like 2 or 3 times every day for the past month, but I never pick up and they've never left a voicemail either.

Phone rang at 8.45 am but the bloke was nearly impossible to understand and then just hung up. I used 1471 and got this number, called it back but it went straight to an answering machine saying it was the London Mint and asked to leave a message for a call back. Saw another review saying this number isn’t on the official London Mint website. I’ve ordered coins from them before, and they don’t cold call - they normally post info through the mail. Pretty sure this is a scam.

I get rings a couple times each day from this number. Even though it looks like a London dialling code, my phone shows it as an International call. They never bother to leave a voicemail either. I’m thinking about blocking it but honestly, I have no clue how to do that on my landline.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from the London Mint Office. I thought it was legit since I purchased a coin from them like 8 years back, even though I closed my account after that. She was trying to get me to buy a new £2 coin. I told her I wasn’t interested, but she just kept pushing. I had to firmly say “No thank you” before hanging up. After reading others’ stories, it’s clear this was a scam. Such a pain! Totally not worth my time. I’ve blocked the number now.

They kept ringing me loads last week sayin’ I’d ordered some coin from them, which I definitely never did. So I just blocked their number. Then today, as I’m taking my kids to school at half eight in the mornin’, they ring me again from a withheld number. Wish they’d just give it a rest and leave me alone.

Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent claiming I’d bought a coin from the London Mint last year and trying to pitch more from the same series. I have had coins from them before, some free apart from about £3 postage. I wasn’t sure if I actually got the coin he mentioned, so I said I’d check. He offered to send another if I covered the £3 again. Found the charge on my credit card but no sign of the coin, so I’m just going to chalk it up as a small loss. They keep ringing every few days, usually when I’m out, which is just a bit annoying.

This week I’ve been getting calls from this number on my mobile pretty much daily. I hardly ever share my number with anyone, so I’ve no clue how they got it. They hang up way too quick for me to pick up and never leave a voicemail. It’s mostly around late morning or early afternoon, like just before lunch or around 1 to 2 pm. The number is 02038293951.

This morning I got a call from a lady with a foreign accent, using the number 02038293951. She asked if I'd gotten the Queen's 90th birthday coin. She seemed to know my name and address but I didn’t say anything to confirm. She claimed to be from the London Mint but was really unclear about details, so I told her I’d call them myself. About a week ago I had a few calls that hung up before I could pick up. To me, this sounds like a scam, just a way to get personal info.

I received a call from someone who said they were representing a company I had ordered from. They mentioned there was an issue with my order, which struck me as odd since they referred to me by my maiden name. When I asked for the name of the company, they refused to disclose it. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Honestly, who even are these annoying callers? They ring up and say absolutely nothing, it's well beyond frustrating. You’d think the phone companies would finally do something to stop this nonsense, but I doubt it’ll ever happen since they probably profit from these endless cold calls. I’m 76 years old, and at this stage in my life, I have zero patience for this rubbish. The number that keeps pestering me is 02038293951.
