Dodgy call, be careful.

02030692051 just called me again, second time this morning within 15 minutes, claiming to be from TalkTalk internet. I’m not a TalkTalk customer. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Sounds like a dodgy foreign robocall, really annoying and persistent. JAKE.

Got a call claiming to be from the Mint Office about some "exclusive offer" on a "one of a kind item". The person had a pretty heavy accent and spoke really slowly, which was unusual. When I said I wasn't keen, they kept telling me I was passing up an amazing chance. After I repeated myself about five or six times, they just cut me off right in the middle of me trying to explain.

Was expecting a phone call from the hospital and caught the end of a message when I picked up. Foolishly gave out my name and hospital number! Now I’m a bit anxious about what might happen because of that. Usually, I’m great at dealing with these annoying calls by just keeping quiet or hanging up quick, but it was early morning and I was waiting on an important call. I thought these kinds of pushy calls were supposed to be banned now.

What an absolute nuisance this caller is! Such a right bother, always ringing at the most inconvenient times.

Some guy rang up tryin to convince me to move my pension. Seemed pretty shady - refused to tell me his name or the company he works for.

Answered by mistake as I was waiting for a different call. The caller had a strong accent and didn’t even get my name right. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number.

Even though I’ve put this number on my reject list, they still found a way to reach me, which is quite baffling. It’s beyond frustrating and I really believe we need a definitive solution to tackle these annoying callers! I’ve tinkered with various call blocking apps in the past; they function decently for a bit, but eventually they stop being effective, and some numbers still manage to slip through. So, I’m giving this new app a go. Hopefully, it will keep these pesky callers at bay for at least a little longer before they find a way around it!

They've been ringing me like 2 or 3 times every day for the past month, but I never pick up and they've never left a voicemail either.

Phone rang at 8.45 am but the bloke was nearly impossible to understand and then just hung up. I used 1471 and got this number, called it back but it went straight to an answering machine saying it was the London Mint and asked to leave a message for a call back. Saw another review saying this number isn’t on the official London Mint website. I’ve ordered coins from them before, and they don’t cold call - they normally post info through the mail. Pretty sure this is a scam.

This number has been ringing me daily, sometimes even twice! The trouble is, I don't have a clue who it belongs to. They never bother to leave a voicemail or send a text to introduce themselves. As a result, I’ve decided to just let it ring and not pick up.

This number has been ringing me twice daily. I choose to ignore them since, although it has a London area code, my phone shows it as an international call. They never bother to leave a message either. I’d love to block them but am a bit lost on how to do that with a landline. Any ideas?

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from the London Mint Office. I thought it was legit since I purchased a coin from them like 8 years back, even though I closed my account after that. She was trying to get me to buy a new £2 coin. I told her I wasn’t interested, but she just kept pushing. I had to firmly say “No thank you” before hanging up. After reading others’ stories, it’s clear this was a scam. Such a pain! Totally not worth my time. I’ve blocked the number now.

They kept ringing me loads last week sayin’ I’d ordered some coin from them, which I definitely never did. So I just blocked their number. Then today, as I’m taking my kids to school at half eight in the mornin’, they ring me again from a withheld number. Wish they’d just give it a rest and leave me alone.

Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent claiming I’d bought a coin from the London Mint last year and trying to pitch more from the same series. I have had coins from them before, some free apart from about £3 postage. I wasn’t sure if I actually got the coin he mentioned, so I said I’d check. He offered to send another if I covered the £3 again. Found the charge on my credit card but no sign of the coin, so I’m just going to chalk it up as a small loss. They keep ringing every few days, usually when I’m out, which is just a bit annoying.

I received a call from this number the other day. A chap was on the line claiming he had a commemorative coin celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday that I supposedly requested. I quickly informed him that I hadn't placed any order. He then attempted to persuade me to buy another coin for £19.99. At that point, I decided to end the call. - caller: 02038293951

I've been inundated all week long with incessant calls from this number on my mobile. It’s a bit of a mystery, really, as I hardly ever share my number. It leaves me scratching my head about how they've managed to get hold of it. They never seem to stay on the line long enough for me to pick up, nor do they bother leaving a voicemail. The calls generally come in around ten in the morning or during lunchtime, typically between 1:15 and 2:00. It’s really quite bewildering! The number that keeps bothering me is 02038293951.

This morning I got a call from a lady with a foreign accent, using the number 02038293951. She asked if I'd gotten the Queen's 90th birthday coin. She seemed to know my name and address but I didn’t say anything to confirm. She claimed to be from the London Mint but was really unclear about details, so I told her I’d call them myself. About a week ago I had a few calls that hung up before I could pick up. To me, this sounds like a scam, just a way to get personal info.

I received a call from someone who said they were representing a company I had ordered from. They mentioned there was an issue with my order, which struck me as odd since they referred to me by my maiden name. When I asked for the name of the company, they refused to disclose it. What is the deal with these incessant callers? I'm absolutely fed up with them ringing up and just remaining silent. It's high time that the telecommunications companies took a stand and put an end to this nonsense once and for all! However, I doubt that will happen, considering they're raking in a fortune from these annoying cold calls. Here I am at 76, and the last thing I want to deal with is this rubbish at my age. Seriously, who even calls from 02038293951?
