I got a call from 02039584027 with a recorded voice claiming to be from HMRC. It was really unsettling, saying I had a lawsuit against me and even that my home was being watched. They told me to call them back urgently to dodge serious trouble. Luckily, I checked your site before doing anything. The whole thing felt really threatening and could freak someone out. Honestly, I think what they did is illegal.

Just got a call claiming to be from HMRC saying there's a lawsuit against me. Don’t fall for it, it’s a complete scam. You should report it to the ICO - just search for ICO nuisance calls online. It’s really worth doing so these scammers can’t trick others into giving away their info. Takes barely a minute, so don’t ignore it!

got two calls within half an hour, both times just left a robotic voicemail. the message didn’t even bother to use my real name, it said something like "your nand". felt like a total scam to me! ive blocked the number now.

some bloke rang saying i was owed a tax refund and then wanted my card info. when i asked for any evidence, he just went quiet and put me on hold lol. proper scammer, reported to ico and actionfraud straight away. i'd say everyone should do the same. hopefully this saves someone else!
