This number keeps ringing my phone non-stop, and it's clearly a scam from Domestic and General. The people who answer are really unfriendly. Honestly, just block it.

Yesterday this number called me twice and really annoyed me. The first time, the person said who they were and promised to pull up my file, then hung up. After about 15 minutes, I decided to call D&G myself. Everything she mentioned actually matched my TV insurance I got from Argos as a one-off payment when I bought the TV - which was nearly expired. After I spoke to D&G, she called me back. I told her to get lost because I had already checked with D&G, and they were no part of this. She was pretty slick and kept pushing, saying her name was Nardia from their outbound team and even gave me D&G’s number. I pointed out the number she called from, 02038207743, was a scam and that their real number’s easy to find online. She insisted it was their outbound line. I got sick of all her lies, swore at her, and hung up. What really worries me is how they got all my personal info about the policy in the first place.

Just a heads up, she was pushing me to update my policy through her. She even knew the exact one-time payment I’d made. I said D&G never call me; they only send letters when it’s time to renew. She insisted they do both, which felt like total rubbish. Also, she spoke with an Asian accent.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Domestic & General, telling me my boiler cover was about to expire next month. They asked me to renew right then and there, so I gave them my card details over the phone. Later on, I started feeling uneasy and suspected it might be a scam. I got in touch with Domestic & General, and they told me they never contacted me and my plan wasn’t renewed. In response, I contacted my bank to block my card and reported the incident to the police. Luckily, no money had been withdrawn from my account.
