I’ve been inundated with incessant calls from this number, which I’ve discovered is a scam related to Domestic and General. The individuals on the other end are quite unpleasant! I’d highly recommend blocking it as soon as possible!

Just a heads up, she was quite persistent about getting me to renew my policy through her. It was rather dubious since she was fully aware of the single payment I had made. I mentioned that D&G never call and prefer to send out renewal letters instead. She insisted that they do indeed contact customers directly, but that struck me as untruthful. By the way, she had an accent that sounded Asian. Just be cautious!

I ended up renewing the plan over the phone, providing them with my card details. It struck me later that I might have fallen victim to a scam, so I decided to reach out to Domestic and General directly. To my surprise, they had no record of the call and confirmed that my plan hadn't been renewed at all. I promptly contacted my bank to cancel my card and also made a report to the police. Thankfully, they hadn’t managed to withdraw any funds from my account!
