They keep dialling me then just hanging up straight away. Super irritating. Looks like a total scam to me. Would steer clear if I were you.

They keep ringing me up asking for a money transfer to a Virgin Media account I don’t even have. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from someone saying he was Tall Paul from Virgin Media. He tried to convince me to save money by moving stuff over to his bank account. I asked him to prove he was actually Tall Paul, and just like that, he ended the call. Seemed like a total scammer just having a go at people.

This number just will not stop ringing me. I picked up one time and it honestly felt like I was overhearing some kind of trip to Mecca, but weirdly there was Elton John blasting quietly in the background. No clue what the call was about, but I reckon I wasn’t exactly on the guest list for whatever spooky pilgrimage they were on, visiting some stone or something. Proper strange.

Got a call from some bloke with an accent, trying to persuade me to marry his daughter in return for a Kit Kat and 700 rupees. He must be pretty desperate, keeps ringing me several times a week. Every time I tell him I want 1000 rupees or no deal, but he insists I need to sign up for a life insurance plan with him. Fair enough, but I’m no mug, not falling for that nonsense. I’m a bit sharper than your average biscuit tin, thanks!

Some poor bloke in a call centre just reading off a script, probably doing it for peanuts. Best just ignore the call, they'll chuck him back to the wild soon enough.

Struggled to articulate a coherent thought, honestly. I had a hunch they’d been reared in some sort of wilderness, perhaps nurtured by a colony of mischievous penguins, and then dropped into British society, hoping to solicit monkfish as tribute to their tribal leaders in exchange for some sort of peculiar badge and certificate. Quite the bizarre scenario, if you ask me!

Got a call from some London number again. Same old thing, some bloke in a call centre just going through a script and ringing random mobiles hoping for a win. Don’t be that lucky number. Honestly, just chuck your phone in a box, lock it up tight and dig it into the garden. You’ll never have to deal with annoying telemarketers again. Your phone should be for you, not for salespeople ringing non-stop.

I got a call from an unknown number and when I asked them to take me off their list, they weren't happy about it. Then, after I ended the call, they rang me right back, which was pretty annoying.

I picked up the phone, but as soon as I did, I heard loads of noise in the background, like a busy call centre or summat. It felt a bit sketchy, so I just hung up straight away. After about five minutes, I tried ringing them back, but I just let it keep ringing - no way am I falling for it!

My mobile recommended that I avoid answering this call, likely due to its nature as spam. Thinking it through, I took the sensible route and decided to block the number entirely.
