I received a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse, though Google seemed to link the number to Royal Oak. The caller mentioned they were situated in London, but their accent had a distinct Indian flair. It felt very much like a cold call as they attempted to pitch various mobile phone deals to me, despite the fact I've never been a customer of Carphone Warehouse. When I pointed out that this was a TPS-registered number, they appeared taken aback but, to my astonishment, they abruptly ended the call while I was still speaking. Quite the experience!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse, but when I looked the number up, Google said it was Royal Oak. The guy sounded Indian and said he was calling from London. It was a random cold call trying to pitch mobile phone deals, even though I’ve never dealt with Carphone Warehouse before. When I told him my number’s on the TPS list, he seemed caught off guard and ended up hanging up on me partway through.
