This number has been ringing my phone multiple times, and it's clearly just spam.

Got a call from EE claiming they’d given me a 40% discount and wanted my email to verify my identity - it all sounded fishy so I just ended the call.

Earlier today at around 2:30 pm, my phone was rung by this number a few times but they hung up without leaving any voicemail.

Received an unsolicited call with no identification or any name attached. Suspect it might be some sort of scam.

When I mentioned that it was a con, I was met with an abrupt 'buzz off' response! Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone saying they were from o2, trying to give me £20 off my next bills. Right away I was suspicious, so I asked if they were really from o2 and to tell me my name since they never asked for it earlier. They said they'd send a text to verify my details. I told them straight up I thought they were scammers and hung up, not interested in their offer at all!

Somebody called saying they were from EE and offering a deal on my contract, but I didn't think it was legit. They asked for the email address linked to my phone account to “confirm” stuff and wanted me to stay on the line while they sent an email so I could complete a form for the discount. It all felt a bit off, so I just hung up.

Seemed a bit dodgy to me - they said they could knock a bit off my EE bill but then asked for personal info to prove I was the account holder. Felt like a bit of a scam.

This was a complete con, they claimed O2 and EE are connected and tried to trick me into handing over my info to switch contracts. Had no way was I falling for that!

They said they were ringing from EE offering a discount on an upgrade. When I asked how they got my number since I’m not with EE, they quickly switched to saying it was about my O2 contract. Then they changed it again saying it was Vodafone. When I asked who exactly they were, they finally said Carphone Warehouse - guess they forgot it’s actually Currys now.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from EE, saying I could get £50 off or something. Problem is, I don’t even use EE. When I questioned where he got my number, he just mumbled and ended the call. I’m registered on TPS, but the spam calls keep piling up lately.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2 trying to sell me a discount offer. When I told them no, they just shrugged it off and said they’d already made as much as a year's pay in just one month, then hung up on me. Proper dodgy! 🤬

This number is definitely spam. Just steer clear of it!

Got a call from someone claiming to be EE, saying they were calling to "prevent loyal customers leaving because of poor service." They told me I was "picked at random to receive 40% off my EE bill." I told them I wasn’t buying it and hung up. The background was loud like a typical call centre, and the voice definitely wasn't from London.

It appears that EE is attempting to placate its long-standing customers by peddling a 40% discount on their bills following some rather unsatisfactory service experiences.

It was really hard to catch what he was on about because there was so much noise in the background. He was clearly trying to sell me something with a 40% off deal and mentioned I’d receive a letter tomorrow to confirm it. When I asked where he got my address from, he just asked me to verify it instead! I politely declined and ended the call.

Got a really dodgy call from someone claiming to be with EE. When I mentioned I wasn’t an EE customer, they quickly switched and said they were from O2 instead. I said I wasn’t interested, and then they threatened to cancel my contract. That’s when I just ended the call. Proper scammy behaviour.

At first, the call was really patchy and hard to hear, then the man claimed he was ringing from EE about my SIM card. When I told him EE wasn’t my mobile network, he said something about EE being a group of various providers and asked if he could find out which one I use. I just said ‘No’ and ended the call straight away.
