When I asked what that was, she told me Domestic & General. She insisted we had home contents insurance with them, which we definitely don’t. I told her so and ended the call. Sounds dodgy to me, maybe they got our info from some old appliance insurance years ago. Best to steer clear of them!

Got a really odd call earlier from 02038139793. The person on the line wanted to talk to my husband but spoke in a thick Indian accent that was hard to follow. I got a call from a woman who said she was Chloe and worked for some Debt Advice lot, telling me they could clear unsecured debts. I told her I haven’t got any debts at all. After a quick silence, she seemed surprised, like 'Really, none at all?' I just said nope and told her goodbye before ending the call. Definitely sounded like some call centre script. Just a heads up, be careful.
