Got a call from some annoying telemarketer who just kept saying "hello" over and over and then just cut off. Seems like they want me to ring back or maybe they're just testing the number for future spam calls. BT could totally block these but I guess they don’t bother since they profit every time one of these calls goes through. Loads of these calls happen all year, and BT’s probably cashing in big time.

I get calls from this number about 3 or 4 times daily. Honestly, I’m fed up with it all. I used to pick up before, but they just hang up straight away. ANNOYING CALLER. Got a call from some stranger on a different number today. What’s their deal? They tried to tell me they could lower my TV licence fee. But I don’t even pay anything for my TV, it was given to me as a gift. THESE CALLS CAN REALLY BE STOPPED. My elderly mum, she’s 83 and lives on her own, and it’s a real hassle for her getting to the phone when they keep ringing. I’m absolutely fed up with these constantly ringing me.
