They kept pushing for my card info and got really rude when I said no. Honestly, don’t get caught out by these people.

They’re really pushy, calling me multiple times every single day. This has been going on for a couple of years now and hasn’t stopped. I’m so over it that I’ve resorted to playing loud music down the phone to get them off my back. Proper annoying!

Somebody rang claiming to be from a home service, trying to pitch cheaper deals to my 93-year-old mum. I told her not to answer or engage, and thankfully she listened. What a dodgy scam that was!

Got a call from 02038139099 about my white goods insurance being overdue. They kept telling me I’d been paying for it for 5 years with my HSBC card, but the card had supposedly expired. Problem is, I don’t even have an HSBC account. They did know my name and postcode though, which was a bit creepy.

Received a message purporting to be from Spectre Insurance, saying they were dispatching my home insurance paperwork. However, I've never heard of them, and they definitely aren’t my insurance provider! Quite suspicious, I’d say.

However, I’ve already been in touch with the authentic CAB, and they’re handling everything efficiently without demanding any fees from me. It's rather concerning how scammers operate!
