I got a call from Boots as a reminder for my eye appointment, or so I thought. Then, not long after, the actual store where I’d booked my appointment rang me too. The first call ended up feeling more like a sales pitch - they were asking if I wanted to arrange an appointment for someone else and pushing some special deals on glasses frames for Advantage members. Felt a bit unnecessary to get hit up twice like that.
