Someone rang pretending to be from HMRC, definitely a phishing scam. Don't fall for it!

So this number left me a voicemail, saying something about legal action but never explaining why. I looked it up on this site and decided to ring them back from my home phone. The person who answered claimed to be from HMRC, gave some ref and serial numbers, and said I had to pay right away to sort out my tax contributions. I told them I’m actually employed and sure I don’t owe anything, plus the number I called was linked to Crown Utilities. They just ended the call straight away!
