Got a call from a guy using this number, pretending to be from Sky and asking for my debit card info. I spotted straight away it was a scam and kept chatting just to waste their time until they hung up. Thought I’d share because an older mate of mine got done for £500 by a similar trick last week. Sounds like a typical Sky scam call. They claimed my service contract was up for renewal and tried to check if anything was wrong with my equipment - which it wasn’t. Then they asked for the last 4 digits of my policy number, but I told them I don’t even have a Sky account. Just before hanging up, the caller said sorry for calling the wrong number. I recorded the whole thing, blocked the number, and reported it to the ICO. Courteous? Yes. Trustworthy? Definitely not.
