Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, 02038089184, with a lady talking about bitcoin in what sounded like a foreign accent. I told her I wasn’t following what she was saying and she just hung up. Blocked the number right away.

Got a call from a lady with a strong Eastern European accent claiming she could give me money back if I’d been scammed. I told her I hadn’t lost a penny. Then I told her to quit ringing me and to remove me from her call list. She cheekily said she’d never take me off and would keep ringing forever. So yeah, I just blocked the number straight away. Honestly, what nerve!

Today I got a call from this number saying someone was trying to break into my account and steal my bitcoins. They said they'd email me a screenshot to prove how much I supposedly had in my bitcoin wallet. The person on the line was really pushy, quite rude actually, and sounded really stressed out. They kept insisting I confirm my account details. Do not ever go ahead and verify anything if they ask you! These folks are definitely scammers.

Today I received a call in Norway from this UK number. It sounded like an auto dialler because there was a beep and then just a couple of seconds before the person "answered" on their side. I asked him two times where he was calling from, then he just ended the call.

I got a call from this number saying I supposedly had £31,250.12 stuck in my Coinbase account, and they told me I needed to respond to get it unfrozen and transferred to my bank. It felt really dodgy since I don’t even have a Coinbase account. They also sent me an email from this address: [email protected]. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

They've rang me like 10 times over just a couple days, saying they can recover my lost Bitcoin. How generous of them, right?
