I received a text from someone purporting to be from BT, attempting to verify my phone number. I can only imagine what their next move would have been. It’s clearly a scam!

Got a call from this number bright and early today. Usually, we just ignore unknown numbers, but at that time of the morning it really got me worried. When you’ve got elderly family around, any unexpected ring like that makes you fear the worst.

I've been signed up to the TPS for nearly a decade now, but the calls just keep on coming. I haven't been a homeowner in over 8 years, yet the number of calls I get shows they're probably using really outdated databases. It's quite frustrating!

They were cold calling me out of nowhere. I'd avoid calling them back, could end up costing you money.

I got a call about making some extra cash, but as soon as I said I wasn’t interested, they just hung up on me.

I missed the call from this number (02038088731), which I guess was maybe lucky. When I looked it up afterwards, it showed up as a known scam number. I gave them a ring back just to see, but it cut off the moment I called. I’ve never dealt with them before, so I’m labelling it as harassment. Normally, I just say “no” straight away if it’s any kind of offer.

been getting calls from this lot who claim to be working for some kind of investment or bitcoin firm. they even have my full name! i keep telling them i'm on the do not call list but they don’t seem to care and just ring from different but nearly the same numbers. these scammers are seriously dodgy.

I've been getting calls non stop for days from a string of numbers like 0203 808 8731, 020 3808 9120, 0203 808 7821 and 020 3808 7835. They come one after another, and whenever I try ringing back, none of the numbers seem valid. No voicemails or messages are ever left either. Because of how often they call and the fact the numbers aren’t real, I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of scam going on here.

Tried calling me but I didn’t pick up. After reading other comments about this number, I reckon I’ll just ignore it next time.
