People with thick accents keep ringing me up about investing stuff. I’ve told this bloke loads of times to quit calling but they always come back on another number. Had the same happen here, a woman rang me by my name really late, sounded suspicious so I just let it ring off. Then about half past one in the morning, a call came from a close but different number, it was an automated message about some lottery prize, definitely a scam. Got a call just before 8 in the evening from a guy who sounded like he was from the Philippines. He knew my name and claimed to be a "Business/Investment Manager," which made me hang up straight away. I’ve also had calls like this before from a number in Liverpool, but then it was a woman, also Filipino, saying she was an "Investment Manager." To me, these are definitely scams, so I just ignore and hang up on them.
