I've been registered with the TPS for nearly a decade now but the calls just keep on coming. I haven't lived in my own place for 8 years, yet the calls keep rolling in, which just goes to show how outdated their lists must be.

I got a phone call from a firm purporting to be Two Dots. I entertained the conversation for about ten minutes, responding accordingly. During our chat, they shared a link with me. Suspecting it might be dodgy, I conducted a vulnerability check on the site and discovered it has browser hooks embedded. This means that anyone with malicious intent could potentially surveil all the internet activity on my device following a visit to their page, including sensitive banking details. - Caller: ‭020 3807 8003‬

Proper pain on the other side. Told them I had already shared my info to be called about bitcoin stuff. They were way too pushy and overly sure of themselves - honestly rude! I told them to stop ringing me and take me off their list. They keep ringing anyway, sounding all huffy, saying we spoke yesterday but no progress was made. Like it was my fault! Ended up blocking the number!

It just keeps calling but never says anything. I feel like I’m memorising the number at this point, definitely ignoring it from now on!

My guess is they’re just checking if someone picks up, so they can mark the number as active and then pass it on to other spammers or bombard you with junk calls.

I've been plagued by this mysterious number too; every time I pick up, they nonchalantly cut the line. It's a bit vexing, to be honest! When you try ringing them back, an automated voice chirps in, claiming they've logged your number and promise to ring you later. But really, who on earth are they? It would be quite helpful if they introduced themselves in their voicemail. Honestly, I'm left wondering if it’s a dodgy spam operation, so I’m promptly adding this number to my blocked list and getting in touch with OFCOM about it. - Caller: Unknown

I'm constantly bombarded by calls from this number, where someone aggressively insists that I press 1 to cancel my internet service, claiming that an engineer is en route. The hilarious part is that I don't even use BT! I usually let the robotic voice drone on just to have a chuckle at their expense, as they clearly don't have a clue. What's more, they've now started ringing my mobile, and when I answer, they just hang up-what a laugh! It's quite obvious these chaps are nothing but a bunch of scammers! - caller: Scammer

A cheerful woman with a slight American twang greeted me with a “hello sir, how are you?” I wasn’t used to that sort of friendly chat on my landline, so I replied I was “bloody brilliant.” Then I cheekily told her to “bugger off.” I honestly don’t think I did anything wrong, considering the odds were almost zero that she wasn’t just another scammer having a go.

I received a rather cheerful phone call from a lady with a slight American twang. She greeted me with a bubbly "hello, sir, how are you?" Now, I must confess, I'm not entirely used to such exuberant friendliness on my home phone, so I cheekily replied that I was "absolutely marvellous!" Following that, I couldn't resist throwing in a rather crude suggestion for her to "clear off." 02038 078003 I received an unusually curt call from a gentleman who clearly had no clue who I was. Strangely, he mentioned the name of my former employer from three years back, referring to it as The Dutch Investments. Just as bizarre, I was then spoken to by a rather impolite woman, whose accent sounded rather Far Eastern.
