She kept insisting to speak with the owner of the company. When I asked what the call was about, she mentioned something to do with being overcharged.

Received a call claiming to be from National Grid, saying my smart meter was faulty because it's been showing wrong readings. They wanted me to send a photo of the meter or a recent bill first, so they'd bring the right equipment when they come to swap it out. Didn’t accept me saying no either. Then they said they'd email me at my info address listed online to get the details from me. Not sure what'll happen now, waiting to find out...

Got a call outta the blue from someone claiming to be 'EoN', saying they wanted to swap my smart meter. Started off all friendly, saying they could cut down my bills and all that jazz, then it moved onto "We just need your bank info to get it sorted." Told 'em I couldn’t give it because I was speaking on behalf of my cricket club, and didn’t have the details. Albert, who sounds like he’s from India, is pretty tenacious, keeps ringing back no matter what. I’ve been messing about with him a bit, bless his heart. I’m curious how many times he'll try before I finally block him lol 😅

Someone called claiming they could offer me 23p per KWH on my electricity. I ended up speaking to the 'manager' who explained everything in detail. I told him I needed to check my current deal before deciding. Left him waiting on hold for a bit and then just disconnected.

Some bloke ringed me up sayin he could lower my energy bills and claimed he worked for the national grid. But when I asked for my meter point reference, he had no clue. Also, he couldn’t answer any questions I had about my house or energy supply properly. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a ring from +16088928382, some woman with an Indian accent. She was talking about something related to electricity, but honestly, I couldn’t catch what she was saying at all. I tried to get a word in but just ended up hanging up. Then, about 10 minutes later, the same number called me back. I’ve blocked both numbers now.
