Received a call from an American chap claiming there was an issue with my computer. He mentioned some sort of refund owed to me from a firm called UK NETWORK EXPERTS, which I later found out was linked to a scam. I did some digging and to get my money back, I decided to go through SMALL CLAIMS COURT. Just before the court date, I got a cheque in the post from the company's director along with a note saying they’d shut down the business. Seems likely they might be operating under another name now.

They called saying I was owed a refund. As soon as I refused to share my bank info, they just hung up on me.
