I got a call from a woman who had a really thick Indian accent. I asked her to say it again cause I couldn’t catch what she was saying, but even then it made no sense, so I just ended the call. Checked my phone later and this same number has called me 5 times already.

The conversation kicked off in a rather hushed tone, and I held off for a second. Then, a bloke's voice came through, greeting me with a "hello." I responded in kind, and he continued with, "How are you? I'm calling from Lansam Solicitors" or some such name. The moment he failed to mention my name, I decided to terminate the call. After all, it was an unexpected intrusion!

Some robotic woman claiming to be officer Jessica Taylor from HMRC called me, sounded like a total scam from start to finish. Can’t believe people still get caught by this nonsense. Have gone ahead and blocked the number now. What a joke!
