This number keeps calling me about some sky insurance thing but I don’t even have sky! When I told them that, they just ended the chat right there. So annoyed with these calls, especially since I’m already with pps!

So I saw a missed call from this number and decided to call back. A guy answered and asked me to give my name and phone number so he could have someone call me back. I told him no need, I’m ex-directory and they wouldn’t have had my number to begin with. He then asked if I was having issues with my Sky account or something. Weird exchange really.

Got a call from some satellite company. I don’t have any satellite services though, so I told them so. They kept insisting I did have one, asking if I was certain. A bit pushy, but not overly rude or anything.

They rang me for three days straight but never actually left a message.

I was almost duped into handing over more than £400! What a right con!

Got a call from a woman earlier today who said she was with the satellite service's low risk team, trying to pitch me a deal on my satellite maintenance. Bit of a red flag since I got scammed by UK TV Care a few years back. She mentioned an old password from an account that’s not even active anymore. I tried asking about my Sky Protect policy, but she couldn’t give me my policy number, so definitely no link there. The annual fee she mentioned for Sky Protect was way off too. Ended up just hanging up on her.

I got a call from a woman who somehow knew my Sky password, trying to sell me extra Sky insurance. After I'd previously been conned by UK TV Care, I told her straight up that I only trust Sky now and pay as I go whenever I need anything sorted. She seemed to get where I was coming from, so I suppose I’ll just wait to see if she or anyone else bothers me again.

I missed a call from a number I didn't recognise, so I tried ringing back but it just hung up straight away without even ringing. Think it was just some spam call.

I got a call about some sky maintenance cover, and next thing I know, £263 has gone from my account. When I looked up the number afterwards, loads of people were saying it was a scam.

I just found out these fraudsters swiped £252 from my account, claiming it was some kind of insurance for my Sky box! Absolutely ridiculous.

Got a call from someone asking if I wanted insurance for my satellite gear, but they were really pushy and quite rude about it. Not the best experience at all.

some dodgy folks rang up saying they could help with ty insurance but sounded totally fishy to me.

Absolutely dodgy lot. They target old folks and those who aren't really up to speed. Trying to push some insurance deal from Spain that hasn’t got any proper oversight from the FEA or whatever the Spanish version of that is. Would steer clear of these guys altogether.

Watch out for these fraudsters! They target old people and those who can’t easily defend themselves. They try to sell insurance from Spain, but this isn’t overseen by the FCA here or any similar body over there. Best to steer clear of them completely.

I got a call from some engineers about doing installation and maintenance for Sky, Freeview, and BT Vision.
