I was met with a cacophony of sounds reminiscent of a large office or call centre, only to be abruptly cut off. It seems they all clocked off for lunch or something! Honestly, considering the plethora of dodgy calls I’ve been getting lately from phoney London numbers, I can’t say I'm overly fussed about missing out on the conversation-nothing of value there, I reckon!

I received a call this morning and answered, anticipating a conversation. To my surprise, the caller just burst out laughing before abruptly disconnecting. Such a peculiar encounter!
