total scam!! they said they were calling from the tax office and tried to freak me out by threatening arrest if i didnt call back on their number. they wanted me to send money to sort it out but my tax is all paid up so its obviously a dodgy call. watch out!

I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, but it definitely felt like a scam. HMRC would never reach out like that. I've had calls like this before, though this one didn’t sound as scary or intimidating as the previous one did!

Got a robo call supposedly from HMRC, but it’s a total scam. They claimed my tax returns weren’t done, which is false, I’m certain I already submitted them. Don’t be fooled by this - it's super obvious it’s a con. Please be careful and don’t take the bait!
