Got a call from an Asian guy claiming my tv insurance was about to expire. I told him he’d got the wrong person since I don’t even have any tv cover. Then he asked if I had a Sky subscription. I just told him I wasn’t up for any chat and ended the call straight away.

Like others have said, I got a call at work from a woman with an Indian accent saying something about a maintenance contract for my television. When I asked for more info, she just started rambling on about Sky TV. After a bit, I just told her to leave me alone, or something pretty much like that.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, said his name was Mark and he was ringing from Sky Maintenance. He wanted to do some kind of update or something. I didn’t even let him finish, just told him to stop, said I don’t have Sky and then hung up. Later I checked the number by dialling 1471 and it showed as 02038 076349.

Got a call from some lady saying our "tv warranty" was nearly up and asking if we wanted to sign up again. Totally felt dodgy, just a trick to get your payment details. Probably a scam.

Got a call from someone called Aleisha who said she was from the "maintenance department". She told me our sky box warranty had expired. When I mentioned we were a business, she suddenly sounded all annoyed, said "oh my gosh" and then just hung up on me. Proper rude behaviour.

Typical scam call pretending to be from Sky about installing their TV service. They were clearly fishing for my bank info. I told them I've got no TV or internet with them. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Got a ring from someone named Ben earlier, but couldn’t really figure out what firm he was representing. He was going on about some insurance for my TV’s top box running out soon. I told him I don’t even have a top box, then just ended the call. Normally, I don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers and have already blocked this one.

Got a call from some scam lot saying my TV insurance needed renewing. Didn’t take kindly to what they said back, so I just ended the call. Then another person here picked up and told them to jog on! Proper dodgy bunch. Make sure to report these pests!!!

Got a call from this number today on my home phone. Didn’t pick up since it wasn’t a number I knew. We hardly ever get calls like this so it was a bit odd. I’m gonna ask the office team to block it going forward or at least mark it as one to ignore.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Sky Maintenance. After about five minutes of me telling him I wasn’t buying what he was selling, he finally hung up. I even told him ironically he ‘improved’ my weather, coz the clouds started parting, the rain eased off, and the sky turned nice and blue!

I told him we don’t have that with you lot, and then just went quiet. Out of nowhere, he told me to F off and hung up the phone abruptly.

I got a call from someone saying it was about my Sky Maintenance Contract charging me £11 every month. I told them we didn’t have any Sky contract, but they kept saying they were checking the contract details. When I kept saying there’s no contract with us, the caller began being rude to me. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call on the home phone from a bloke with a strong Indian accent about some ‘TV maintenance contract’. I told him he’d got the wrong number since we don’t have anything like that. He kept asking if we had Sky, Virgin or BT subscriptions, which we definitely don’t. When I kept denying it, he just called me a liar. The call woke my 8-month-old baby up, so I lost my temper and told him to piss off. After that, he just hung up on me. Absolute cheek!

Phone rang on my landline once more, but I blocked the number straight away. It was probably one of those call centre things, cause after a short pause, a bloke said “hello”. I just said “bye” and hung up - no way I’m wasting time chatting with these con artists. They really must reckon we’re gullible or something. Also, weirdly, these annoying calls always kick off whenever I give my landline out to any proper company. Seems a bit dodgy if you ask me.

This number has rung me four times. I ignored the first three but finally picked up on the 4th. It was an unknown caller, there was a brief silence then a lady’s prerecorded message told me to ring back before hanging up. I’ve blocked it now.

I laughed right there and was like, "No way I am," and pretty bluntly told him to get lost.
