I received a call from a robotic voice inquiring about issues I've previously mentioned concerning my home. It was clearly a scam attempt.

I had a rather unpleasant encounter with a rather pushy gentleman who had a distinctly Indian accent. He insisted that I reveal the charges from my card machine so he could make a comparison with his own. To top it off, he actually urged me to fetch my bank statement just to provide him with the details. I found the whole thing quite off-putting and decided to end the conversation abruptly. Quite an unwelcome experience, if I’m honest!

The person on the other end spoke in such a muddled way that I had to tell them, "I’m afraid I can’t make out anything you’re saying," before I promptly ended the call. I’ve a strong feeling it was probably a scam.
