I received a call on my home phone, and the caller purporting to be from BT raised some alarms. At the same time, my mobile pinged with a One Time Password (OTP) sent from the customary BT channel. Now, that’s a bit unsettling, given that such messages are typically triggered after I’ve logged in with my usual password on the BT website. It seems as though they may have had access to my password but were thwarted by the necessity of the OTP. When I pressed them for some identification to confirm their legitimacy, they rattled off my registered mobile number for receiving OTPs, which added to my unease. I promptly ended the conversation and altered my password right away. I’ve lodged a formal complaint with BT concerning their security measures, insisting that they need to warn customers about regularly updating their passwords if they're aware of a breach in their security protocols.

I missed the opportunity to pick up the call! Clearly just another spammer.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with 'Microsoft,' stating they had observed some unusual behaviour on my computer recently. It's quite unsettling that there are individuals out there who might actually believe these fraudulent callers are genuine.

Oh, I must say, I've been inundated with calls from 02038075755, purporting to be from BT. They keep insisting they need my email address because apparently, there's someone misusing it. It's a bit bewildering, really! I didn't share my email with the caller, as if they genuinely think there’s foul play afoot, then they surely must already have my details. It’s rather tiresome receiving these calls, isn’t it?

Seems like I've stumbled upon a dodgy caller! If you simply inquire who they're after, they tend to hang up rather quickly!

Received a call on 24th November 2022 from someone claiming to be from BT. They even texted me a PIN to enter on my computer! Quite persuasive, although the accent was distinctly Indian.

I picked up the phone only to hear a young woman with an Indian accent belting out a tune. The moment she figured out I was on the line, her singing abruptly ceased. She introduced herself as being from the BT Technical Department and blurted something about errors. Curious, I fired back with, "What’s my name?" To which she responded rather dodgily, "I can send a text to your mobile." Clearly, she’d flunked the simplest of security questions, so I promptly ended the call and, for a bit of instant gratification, added her number to my block list.

I recently received a rather dubious call, supposedly from BT's tech support, claiming there were numerous IP addresses accessing my BT line and causing it to become overloaded. They insisted I connect a laptop to troubleshoot but I politely explained it wasn't a good time for me. Then they suggested I use my courtesy line, but again, I mentioned it wasn't suitable right now. After that, they abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent, who asserted they were from the technical support team at Sky. They claimed to have detected issues with my router. When I hesitated to comply with their seemingly complicated instructions, they became quite irate. I explained that I’m not particularly tech-savvy, and then they abruptly hung up on me. Quite unprofessional, if you ask me!
