I got a call from someone claiming to be with Eon, telling me I'd been charged too much.

They called me twice today, but I was busy with work so I didn't pick up. They didn't leave any message either.

some guy called claiming he was with opus and told me my power was going to be cut off unless I gave them a meter reading. i've stuck with the same electricity company for over 8 years and my contract still has 3 more years to go. then the following day they rang again but said they were from eon. when i tried ringing the number back, it just went straight to dead air, no rings or anything.

Someone just rang but didn’t say a thing. Weird dead silence on the line.

I got a phone call at work about giving a meter reading for electricity, and the person said they were from Office Energy. When I asked a bit more, they passed me to another person who told me my deal with Opus was finishing soon (I’m not even with Opus). Then when I asked again, the call just dropped. I’ve had a few calls lately from similar numbers, all wanting a meter reading but each time claiming to be from a different company. The last one said my Eon contract was ending. Pretty dodgy!
