I've been receiving calls from this number intermittently for more than a year now; occasionally it's just a solitary ring, but at other times, I've been bombarded with a dozen or more in quick succession. I can't exactly point the finger at the callers themselves-they're just cheeky chancers, really. No, my frustration is directed at the government and the telecom firms for turning a blind eye to this nonsense. It’s as if they've completely forgotten about the little business owners out there, prioritising those who prefer to sit idle instead.

After about six calls, I finally answered and blasted loud music down the phone. Two minutes of some noisy pop and he never called again! Seriously, if you can block them, do it. Received a phone call today regarding our company’s energy supply. The caller wanted meter readings and some other info. Got a bit wary when they started asking for personal stuff. The person had a strong Asian accent, making it hard to catch everything. Claimed to be from Opus Energy, and said his name was Ray Monb (or maybe Mond). I rang Opus myself and they told me they wouldn’t reach out unless we had an existing account with them. Had around six more calls after that, and the numbers kept switching up each time.

Got a call earlier from someone asking for a woman at a company with almost the same name as mine. I told them no one by that name is here and they must have the wrong place, but they didn’t seem to get it. Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, asking for the owner and wanting our electric and gas meter readings. Thing is, we don’t have gas. When I asked who he was, he spoke with such a thick accent I could barely get a word in. I've been receiving incessant calls-like 15 a day-from an Indian bloke pestering me for a meter reading. It’s infuriating, to say the least. The way he demands information is downright rude and feels like harassment. Honestly, if I could pinpoint where he’s operating from, I’d be tempted to drive over and give him a piece of my mind, then report him to the authorities! As it stands, I've resorted to leaving my phone off the hook. I just use my mobile, playing tranquil sounds from YouTube, placing it near the other phone to drown out the calls. It’s a shame the government doesn’t take this kind of behaviour seriously; something ought to be done about it. Cleaning up this kind of operation or blocking his number would be a welcome change.

Got about 7 calls from an Asian bloke saying he was from Opius. I told him I already deal with another company. He was pretty pushy and kept asking for meter readings. Every time I ended the call, he rang straight back! It was really annoying, so in the end, I just left the phone off the hook and let my customers explain themselves. Took him a good 10 minutes before he finally gave up.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Eon. They said there was a refund to sort out and wanted my meter readings since the last ones were apparently guessed. When i asked them to verify the readings, the call just went dead. Had a heavy Indian accent and kept going on about needing to reset the meter.

Hey folks, I keep gettin loads of calls from some Indian bloke trying to sell me gas and electric at my shop. So I used Samsung smart call to track where he’s calling from. Turns out this stingy guy is at 139, Summer Street, GL5 1PH. He was proper rude, swearing and telling me to go meet him, then after I dropped his address back at him, he sounded stunned and just cut me off. Looks like I’ll be payin him a visit real soon.

I've had a right laugh with them, must have had at least six calls where I've given them a bit of my mind! This number is definitely one to be looked into and barred immediately! They've been pestering me incessantly, ringing me a minimum of eight times daily for more than a week now. I’m determined to unearth the identity of whoever has been careless enough to pass along my digits to these individuals. With the help of my personal sleuth, I’ll get to the bottom of this. They’d better prepare for a swift report, or I’ll track down the actual business responsible for trafficking my details to these fraudsters, which has led to a significant loss for my family - to the tune of over 1 million pounds!

Someone pretending to be from Companies House keeps ringing asking for Nicola. There’s no Nicola here, and I’m not even registered as a ltd company. I got about 8 calls from different numbers today. Most were an Indian bloke, but a couple were from a British chap. The last one called from a mobile and asked if I have WhatsApp because he likes my voice. They all start the same way - used to be just annoying but now it’s feeling really creepy.

Got a bloke from India keep ringin’ my business non stop lookin’ for some other company. When I told him he’d got the wrong place, he said I was fibbing. Got a call at the shop from an Asian bloke wanting the meter reading. I said I needed 10 minutes as I had to move a board to see the meter. Then it clicked, he might be trying to switch our supplier, so I didn’t give him the reading. I’d already said we’re with N Power, and he goes, “I’ll get N Power to ring you in half an hour.” I shot back, “No, we’ll call N Power ourselves.” As it happened, a proper N Power guy had already turned up earlier and taken the reading. Definitely a dodgy call - some sort of scam!

Somebody kept ringing my job about 8 times. Since we run a food place, we usually ignore numbers we don’t know because of loads of prank calls. On the third try, I finally answered and got an angry guy with an Indian accent shouting at me for not picking up earlier. I received a call from this number earlier, and I made it clear that I wasn’t interested in their sales pitch and wouldn’t be signing anything. I specifically requested that they refrain from contacting me again. Despite that, my phone was bombarded with calls from them for the rest of the afternoon! My little one was absolutely knackered, and I was desperate to settle him down for a nap. I pleaded with the bloke on the other end to stop calling, but he simply wouldn’t listen. In the end, the only solution was to disconnect my phone altogether just to get some peace for my baby. This is utterly ridiculous! I’m determined to take action against these nuisance calls and the companies behind them. Honestly, why do these firms employ people who disregard such requests? Most of these calls seem to be masquerading as energy companies.
