Got a call from a bloke saying I had registered for Bitcoin with the name Mr Alan from Greenhome. Total scam, and he was really rude and pushy about it.

Musta put my number in the wrong place coz I got a call from some lot saying I could invest in bitcoin trading. I asked for their company name and they sent me a website. I asked if they pay tax and what their registered name was, but they didn’t know. I told them I’d do my own research and come back to them. Asked for a phone number to call them back, but they wouldn’t give one. Then the bloke called me financially reckless and bragged about having a million in savings before trying to get my card info again lol.

Got a call from an American-sounding woman named Sarah Wilson, sounded super robotic and was threatening legal action unless me or my solicitor got back to the number. Totally a scam. HMRC would never handle things like that. I reported it, didn’t bother calling back, and just blocked the number.

I listened to an automated message with an American accent pretending to be HMRC - like they’d ever have someone from the US or ask you to ring them back! Best just to ignore and hang up.

I phoned back using another number and refused to share my own. I did give them my name though, which I kinda regret now. They sounded really aggressive. I told them I’d contact the police, but they didn’t seem bothered at all. Please warn others about this. DO NOT LET THIS SCARE YOU, JUST BLOCK IT!!!

Im honestly fed up with these calls, there has to be some way the phone companies can sort this out, or maybe they just dont care cause they’re raking it in from those firms. Do no means call this number back, HMRC will always send you a letter in the post, just ignore these dodgy scams tryin to nick your cash.

With all the threats she throws around, you'd think it's basically demanding money with menaces, right? Oh, and if you actually call the number, it says Sarah Wilson has died!

Got a threatening voicemail from someone called 'officer sarah wilson' saying they were from HMRC. It was a recorded message with a weird American accent, warning that if I don't ring back, I should 'prepare for legal action' or something like that. I had a similar call just a few months back, but the voice was a British one this time from a London number that turned out to be registered in Australia. The police told me there's been loads of scams pretending to be HMRC lately. Definitely a scam, don't fall for it!

Just had the same thing happen. Sarah Wilson left a voicemail warning a policeman would show up at your house within 2 hours to arrest you. Properly scared my mum, she called them back and it really upset her. Took me ages to get her settled down again.

This number never actually rang me, it was a voicemail asking me to ring them back. Ive flagged it as dodgy now. A woman with an American accent said I was in big trouble with Customs & Excise and that I should get in touch with my lawyer asap and not ignore the message. So basically, here we go AGAIN, more scammers trying to con innocent people. Be careful everyone and help me call these crooks out. Don’t be shy, LETS EXPOSE THEM. Cheers.
