Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I’ve got lawsuits coming my way. The scam’s not very well done, but I reckon it might fool a few folks out there.

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC and the police, threatening to arrest me over taxes I supposedly owed. Totally felt like a scam to me.

Today my dad got a call from a woman saying she was with HMRC and that he owed nearly £4,000. When he said he couldn't afford that, she warned him that court action was next, and it could end up costing him £96,000. She also threatened that the police would come to his house within the hour to arrest him. Sounds like a proper scam to me!

I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, saying they needed my birthday for some legal stuff. They already had my address though, so I just told them to send the documents in the post and then hung up. Honestly, I'm so fed up with all this nonsense now.

Just got a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC, saying I'd be arrested for unpaid taxes. Don't fall for it, HMRC doesn't ring you about overdue tax like that. Make sure you warn your family and friends about this dodgy scam!
