Today my dad got a call from a woman saying she was with HMRC and that he owed nearly £4,000. When he said he couldn't afford that, she warned him that court action was next, and it could end up costing him £96,000. She also threatened that the police would come to his house within the hour to arrest him. Sounds like a proper scam to me!

I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, saying they needed my birthday for some legal stuff. They already had my address though, so I just told them to send the documents in the post and then hung up. Honestly, I'm so fed up with all this nonsense now.

Just got a call from an automated voice claiming I had a warrant out. Didn't even wait for the message to finish and hung up straight away. They’ve called me like this before, really getting fed up with these annoying calls.
