I’m proper fuming. My elderly mum’s been getting hassled by these muppets nonstop for a fortnight. I finally picked up and told them to get lost. Then they ring back, cheeky as ever, asking for my name ‘cos they said they were gonna report me to the cops. I gave them my name and told em to jog on. Absolutely laughable. It really breaks my heart how these lowlifes target vulnerable old folks without a shred of decency. Pure nasty scumbags!!!!!!

I’m absolutely fuming right now. My poor elderly mum has been getting bothered non-stop by these scumbags for a couple of weeks. I finally picked up the phone and gave them a proper earful telling them to piss off. Then, they had the nerve to call back and demand my name, threatening to report me to the coppers. I gave them my name and told them to get lost. Honestly, it’s ridiculous. Makes me sick thinking these heartless bastards target old, vulnerable folk with zero shame. Pure evil!!

I got a really nasty call from a person claiming to be from Total Utilities on 02038074672. They were saying I owed money for some insurance on my fridge and washing machine and kept threatening to take money from my debit card. They’ve been bothering me for weeks with calls. Do not give them any personal info, just hang up straight away and if possible block the number. Make sure you report this number to BT as soon as you can.

Got a call from someone claiming to be First Utility saying I owed cash on some old service. They kept going on about a 5-year plan I supposedly signed up for, but that doesn’t even exist. The person was really pushy and kind of scary, especially since they had a password and kept threatening me. Proper aggressive too.

Got a call from a guy named Theo, said he was from Total Insurance or something. He was going on about how they were covering my TV with some sort of insurance. Thing is, I don’t have any separate insurance just for the TV - it’s covered under my home insurance already. Told him he was totally off and then just ended the call. What a bunch of dishonest scammers!

I tried ringing the number back, but it just says it's not in service now.

For a good fortnight, this Totol utility kept ringing me daily, claiming I had some sort of debt for a cover that I never signed up for. As soon as I said no and wouldn’t pay, they got really rude and aggressive. I ended up blocking their number, but I’m thinking of buying a whistle to keep by the phone just in case they try again.

Got a ring from Total Insurance claiming about a TV cover from 2018, which we never signed up for, so I was pretty sure it was dodgy. We usually have a call blocker set up to stop these types of calls. They got through once, then tried again just a bit later and managed to get past as a legit incoming call. Just a heads up, these people don’t give up easily.

My elderly aunt got a call from someone who was really pushy and quite scary. They claimed she owed money for an extended TV warranty that supposedly spanned five years, and that she was three years behind on payments. She’s never even bought these kinds of policies before, so it was all rubbish. The caller was pretty harsh, almost bullying her, saying she’d be sent a bill soon, which really disturbed and stressed her out.

My elderly mum got a call from a man chatting about an insurance policy for our central heating, which we don’t have. When she told him to cancel it, he suddenly said she had to pay a final amount first. I’d had enough and jumped in. I told him that since we’re council tenants, the council handles any repairs, so the insurance would be pointless. Then I called it out as a scam, wished him a good day, and hung up. Since March, we've had at least twenty calls just like this, all from different numbers and claiming to insure different things, but the scam's clearly the same each time.

Got a call from +20 38074672 about some kind of TV appliance insurance they said I supposedly started back in 2018. They were trying to push a cheaper cover offer, said I could get a discount for the next three years left on the policy. Felt a bit fishy if you ask me.

Someone called me claiming I needed to cancel insurance on a washing machine I'd supposedly bought back in 2018. They said I paid £198 and signed up for a five-year deal with total utilities, which I'm almost certain I never did. The caller knew my bank's name, part of the sort code and some digits from my card. They then demanded £89 to end this contract. They were really pushy and rude, which stressed me out. I'm going to contact my bank to sort this out but wanted to warn others about this number and the harassment. It’s quite worrying until I know what's really going on.

Some bloke rang saying he was from an insurance firm. I caught the call halfway through and heard him yelling at my dad.
