A couple of days back, this number gave me a ring and just like others have said before, they claimed my PPI claim was successful. Knowing full well I never made any claim and this was obviously a con, I just let the person ramble for ages (it must’ve been about 10 minutes!) before she mentioned she’d transfer me to another team. I said alright, but as soon as the line went dead silent, I hung up. Never heard from them again! These scams really grind my gears! 😠

I got a call from some company claiming I’d won £3759 from a PPI claim. Thing is, I never even made a claim. The voices sounded like they were from India, saying they’d chased it up and were going to come round to my house with the cash. Then they said I had to pay them 10% of the amount in Spar shop vouchers, not actual cash, because apparently the payment wasn’t for them. I’m baffled by the whole thing. If they’re coming with cash, it seems like it could be fake, since they don’t want me to pay them directly from the payout. They told me to call that number once I have the vouchers and they’ll show up. Feels like a proper scam to me.

Got a call saying we were due £3750 in PPI from Lloyds TSB but that we needed to pay £375 first. They even gave me a loan reference number and said a courier would deliver the cash. Total scam, don’t fall for it!
