Spoke to some bloke supposedly from EE, who gave a posh English name like “Mark” but was actually some scammer from India. He called from a London landline number that looked legit but was definitely faked. Said my SIM card was going to get switched off, which I’ve heard is a new trick they’re using these days. Even though he pretended to be from the phone company, he had no clue who I was or any of my details! Makes you wonder why these clever techy types waste their skills on scamming instead of doing something honest!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with EE mobile. When I told them I don’t have any contract with EE, the person just said "right, ok, bye" and ended the call. Pretty clear it was a scam.

On the 19th of January, I got a call from this number. I didn't pick up, and then just a couple of minutes later, I received another call from almost the same number - only the last two digits were different. I ignored that one as well.

They’ve started calling again pretending to be from EE. I told them to buzz off and maybe pick a job that actually means something, then just slammed the phone down on them.

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, but I don’t even have a contract or any service with them. They said there was a special offer just for customers, but it was all rubbish. Total waste of time.

I had a call from some bloke saying he was from 02, but I knew straight away it was dodgy. I asked him if he could tell me my name and where I lived, just messing about since I’ve had about 40 calls like this before. He tried saying it was due to data protection or something, so he couldn’t tell me that info. I wasn’t buying it though and told him I obviously know who I am and where I live. After that, he just hung up on me. Made me chuckle more than anything!

Thankfully I had already blacklisted this number since it’s not someone I know. I’m not sure how they managed to call me given my number is registered on the TPS.

Got a call from a woman with a strong accent, couldn't make out much because there was loads of background noise. She claimed to be from O2 but it was obviously a scam. I told her straight up, 'Are you proud of ripping people off like this?' She just ended the call after that.
