I've been inundated by calls from optionrobot.com, and it's becoming rather tiresome. They keep trying to persuade me to invest in their Binary Options scheme. It's the same routine-at least four different numbers have rung me daily, and I've blocked each one as they come in. It's a right nuisance!

I initially believed I was engaging with a legitimate online binary options firm when they promptly returned my call after I had entered my card details to pay a £4.99 registration fee. The representative then demanded an additional $225-around £175-to complete my registration and purchase some credits. I declined and insisted they cancel everything. He claimed to be operating from Cyprus, although the phone number suggested it was a London-based call. A short while later, approximately an hour and a half, I was contacted by HSBC's fraud department, who informed me of some suspicious withdrawal attempts from my account. I shared my experience with them, and they promptly froze my current card until a new one arrives in the post. Going forward, I will certainly exercise more caution.
