A man with a foreign accent answered, but the line was terrible and he promised to ring back - which never happened. I ran a thorough virus scan afterwards, but it came up clean. Now, I’m trying to figure out who could be using my IP and need some proper tech support. Looking back, it’s clear the alert was a scam. It looked so much like an official Windows message though.
