Got a call from someone saying they could help me get money back from car finance deals between 2007 and 2021. They had my name, phone number and even my postcode, but couldn’t explain where they got that info from. At first, I said yes to their offer, and they told me someone from their ‘verification’ team would ring me again to move things forward.
