They mispronounced my name, and then hung up on me.

They’ve been ringing me nonstop, about 10 to 15 times, yet they never pick up when I try to answer.

This morning, I received a phone call from this number. A chap named Luke claimed he was representing Sky. He wanted to confirm whether he was speaking with Ms Mutch, which, of course, is me. Instead of answering directly, I simply replied with 'talking'-I've been advised to avoid saying yes or no in these situations. He proceeded to inquire if I was indeed Ms Mutch and then mentioned my street name but bungled the house number. I quickly realised he had the wrong Ms Mutch, so I informed him of the mix-up. He wasted no time in ending the call shortly after that!

Whenever this number buzzes me up, requesting to chat with Mr Ferdinand Alonso-the Formula 1 driver-you can bet your bottom dollar it's a dodgy call. I simply indulge them, all while keeping my personal information close to the chest. Truth be told, I find it quite entertaining to string them along; they can’t ruffle my feathers, no matter what nonsense they spout!

I chose not to pick up a call today. Having a caller ID is definitely worth it as these types of nuisances will persistently try to get through, and their numbers tend to be quite distinguishable from those of friends or family that you actually want to talk to.

Absolute charlatans, I tell you! It's best to steer clear of such unsavoury individuals. And as for SKY, they seem utterly useless in these situations. My poor mother, at 83, fell victim to their tricks a few years back, and despite my efforts to uncover who they were and where they lived, SKY offered no assistance whatsoever. If you find yourself on the line with these con artists, remember to gather as much info as you can-fake names, any details-then pass it along to the authorities. Let's put a stop to their antics!

I've been receiving calls from this number almost daily for the past few weeks, and I don't even have an account with Sky. The bloke on the other end claimed he was going to terminate my services, to which I replied it wouldn't bother me as I'd just head to the pub to catch the game. In a bizarre twist, he actually threatened me, saying he'd pop by to 'entertain' my wife while I was out! He even hinted he might drop by my house to 'sort me out'. Honestly, what a ridiculous situation!

Exactly the same for me. They ring and then just cut off.

I've had a few instances now where the phone rings, and when I pick up, there's just silence before they hang up. Quite frustrating, really!

I recently received a rather amusing call regarding a supposed SKY insurance policy, which is quite funny considering I don’t even have SKY! I kept the caller on the line for a solid 25 minutes by deliberately mixing up my details and throwing in some utterly ridiculous questions. The chap fell for it completely! It’s definitely a scam, and they’re just after your cash, so do tread carefully. However, I highly encourage you all to give them a hard time if they ring you again. They despise it, and it’s quite satisfying to hear them hang up in frustration. I’m actually looking forward to the next call!

I received a call from this number and they just disconnected as soon as I answered. When I attempted to return the call, the conversation took a hostile turn. I mentioned that the person they were trying to reach had passed away merely a day and a half prior, and their response was shockingly rude and aggressive.

I received a call regarding my Sky account. I’ve already been charged £32, but I'm not going to pay any additional fees. Could anyone tell me how I can contact them? Cheers, H Gallett, 01698842596.

I received a call from a bloke insisting that our sky protection plan had lapsed, but reassuring me that we could sort it out today. Could this be a dodgy scheme?

I've been receiving calls about a Sky box warranty, but I've never even had Sky services! This feels very much like a scam to me.

I received a rather disconcerting call from this number, claiming that my Sky equipment warranty had lapsed. When I inquired further-under the impression that my coverage was meant to renew automatically via direct debit-the chap on the other end became quite curt and somewhat condescending. It felt as though my queries were irritating him, so I suggested that if they’re above board, they ought to send me a letter regarding this matter. Now, I’m left fretting over whether my Sky gear is indeed unprotected, which seems incredibly unfair to me.

I had the misfortune of receiving a call from a rather impolite and haughty woman who clearly didn't grasp the concept of area codes, as she was reaching out from a location quite far from mine. She went on about some issue regarding equity, which was utterly baffling. I must say, it's infuriating how she spoke down to me as if I were a mere child! I'm quite keen to uncover her identity, given how vexed her manner has left me. Honestly, it's relentless; the calls don’t just come in the daytime, they intrude on my evenings and mornings too! My solid recommendation? Just block the number and be done with it!

I encountered a rather pushy woman attempting to persuade me to purchase a warranty for my Sky gear. Is this some sort of con?
