some bloke called asking for miss ’.s but when I asked him something he just hung up on me right there and then. I reckon these muppets are pretty busy today, bet they’re scammy and just dialling random numbers hoping for a callback. surely there’s a way to catch them out if that’s the case.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Mark from ACT about my washing machine insurance running out. Problem is, I don’t even have any washing machine insurance, so it’s clearly a scam. This number rings me every single day and it’s driving me mad. I'm hoping BT can do something to block them. If it was an elderly person getting these calls, they'd probably be really worried by now.

I let the call go to voicemail, but there was no message left. Sounds like a dodgy company to me.

Got a call from some guy saying he was with ACT, asking about my washer insurance renewal in May. My washer insurance company never calls, they always send a letter instead. I told him I suspected it was a scam and then just ended the call.

Got another call from the same number just now, second time today. They started off asking if I was there by name but when I asked who they were, they just got annoying! What a pain.

Got a call again from atc today. Last time I asked about which washing machine they meant, and they just hung up on me. This time, they insisted on talking to my husband only, unbelievable!
