I got a call about renewing the warranty on an ancient washing machine I’ve never bothered to renew before. Watch out, they might ring from numbers like 02038021524, 02038019273, or 02038203924 too. They weren’t very friendly when I started asking questions, sounded like they were just reading from a script or something. Quite off-putting really.

got a call from someone named connor this afternoon saying our washing machine insurance was running out. we never signed up for any insurance on appliances, just the basic warranty like most people. this was the second time in two days a call came through, both from different numbers but apparently the same call centre. i didn’t hold back and gave them a proper telling off!
